Workhuman: A Best Workplace for Women – Today And Everyday
At Workhuman®, we work hard and celebrate often. Everything from life’s most memorable occasions to national and international traditions and holidays are marked here.
Today, on International Women’s Day, we are honoured to be announced as a Best Workplace for Women in Ireland for 2021. This is our second consecutive year being recognised for going the extra mile for women in our company's culture.

We want to take this opportunity to say “Thank You” to all our humans. Now more than ever, you have supported one another and stayed connected – whilst staying apart. You have kept our culture of belonging alive through challenging times, and together we have grown even stronger.
Usually, we would be celebrating with our team members at the Great Place to Work Gala Awards followed by a delicious breakfast cooked by some of our executive leaders! It is always a joyous occasion and a time to look back on all that has been achieved over the course of the year. This year will be different, but it is still the perfect opportunity to reflect on a year where we have shown true resiliency.
“We are hugely excited to be recognised as one of Ireland’s Best Workplaces for Women again in 2021 on the heels of a transformative year for our company. We’ve been laser focused on making Workhuman a place where our female employees can thrive at work, especially as everyone navigated the incredible stress brought on by the pandemic. COVID-19 has threatened the careers of many women across the globe, and when we moved to a remote work environment, we really listened to our employees and aimed to adapt to their needs. Being recognised for these efforts is a huge deal for us and supports our journey toward addressing the gender gap in tech in Ireland.” Niamh Graham, Vice President of Global Human Experience reflects.
The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day is “Choose to Challenge”, which speaks to how a challenged world is an alert world. Every day our humans choose to challenge themselves both personally and professionally particularly in our newly re-branded Women and Allies employee resource group. In their discussions, speaker events and resource sharing across the company, we see them choosing to challenge for working mothers, for women in technology, for girls in STEM and or gender equity and equality. We are looking forward to the celebrations that will be taking place across the month of March to mark International Women’s Day as well as Women’s History Month.

”Bloom in your own time”
A daughter of one of our humans is painting these wondering pieces and sending to her friends to celebrate!
One thing we must remember this International Women’s Day – and every day – is that if each of us challenges ourselves to call out gender bias and inequality when we see it, as well as identifying and honouring women’s achievements, we will go a long way to creating a more balanced world for future generations.
Happy International Women’s Day!
