Fun Facts About Me
Let’s kick things off with a few fun facts about me:
- Pet Lover Extraordinaire: I have a dog and two cats. My home is always lively and full of love.
- Road Warrior: I’ve driven across the country six times. There’s something magical about the open road and the ever-changing landscapes.
- Mountain Conqueror: I once climbed a 14,000-foot tall mountain in Colorado. It was an exhilarating experience that pushed me to my limits.

Life & Career: From Psychology to Sales
I initially set out to become a psychologist, so that’s what I studied in school. However, I was also very interested in fashion so while I was in college, I took a job at a clothing store. Surprisingly, that’s where I discovered my passion for sales. I found joy in connecting with customers and building relationships-It was so rewarding to help them find what they needed and see them leave happy and satisfied. This experience showed me that I could blend my interest in fashion, while also being able to create and sustain meaningful connections.
My Career Background: The Journey to Workhuman
After college, I continued my career in retail, working my way up the ladder over the years, However, I reached a point where growth opportunities were limited, and the lack of work-life balance in the retail industry was taking its toll. I needed a career change where I felt that I could grow with the company I was working for. I left retail and became a BDR at a Boston-based company. I worked with a great group of people and learned so much about the BDR and tech sales world. I found Workhuman on LinkedIn, and after researching what we do, I was really drawn the human-centric culture that Workhuman is trying to cultivate.

My Onboarding Experience at Workhuman
Onboarding at Workhuman was an incredible experience. I had the chance to onboard with a diverse group of people from various areas of the business, which was fantastic. The process was efficient but thorough, allowing us to understand the company as a whole while focusing on our specific roles. I was eager to dive into my territory, so the shorter ramp period was perfect for me.
Of course, there were some challenges, like adjusting to a new routine and learning new tools. However, the support and resources provided during onboarding made me feel confident and prepared. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I felt ready to contribute to the team.

Valuable Skills and Support
The most valuable skill I’ve gained is confidence in my new role.
The support I received was amazing during my first few months. Everyone made sure that I knew I could go to them if I had any questions. As the saying goes, there’s no such thing as a silly question! My teammates and leader were especially helpful and I leaned on them a lot, and never felt like I was bothersome with all of my questions. I was given a buddy that I met with weekly that I was able to go to with anything. He also taught me some amazing best practices and gave me some great tips. I still rely on him today and go to him with any questions.
