WorkHuman left its mark on Austin with our biggest, most energized crowd yet. More than 2,000 humans came to see Amal Clooney, Salma Hayek, Simon Sinek, a historic #MeToo panel, and more. Eight content tracks like Thriving Through Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging offered up 50+ breakout sessions.
In 2017 we took WorkHuman to the desert, hosting the conference at a beautiful resort in Phoenix, Ariz. We tripled in size from 2015, with 1,600 humans gathering to see Former First Lady Michelle Obama, Susan Cain, Adam Grant, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Chaz Bono. And there were more breakout tracks in 2017 – The ROI of Social Recognition, The Organization of the Future, The Crowdsourced Enterprise, Your Whole Self, and The Human Visionaries.
In its second year, WorkHuman was again held in Orlando and doubled in size! We heard inspiring keynotes from Amy Cuddy, Gary Hamel, Shawn Achor, and Michael J. Fox. Breakout tracks were organized into three categories – WorkHuman For You, WorkHuman For Your Company, and WorkHuman for the World. Attendees enjoyed fun surprises in WorkHuman Central – from donut walls to coloring tables!
In 2015, more than 400 humans gathered in Orlando, Fla. for the inaugural WorkHuman conference to hear keynotes from Rob Lowe, Arianna Huffington, Adam Grant, Nilofer Merchant, and Shawn Achor. “The greatest predictor of long-term happiness is the breadth, depth, and the meaning in your social relationships. And for me, WorkHuman hits all of those,” Shawn told us.
Throughout the year, Globoforce hosts one-day, small-group workshops where attendees have the opportunity earn HR recertification credits and network with their peers. WorkHuman Regional Forums focus on the megatrends shaping HR today and how to create a more human work culture in your organization.
