International human rights lawyer Amal Clooney will share personal stories of giving a voice to neglected and exploited groups, and why her life’s mission is in perfect alignment with what WorkHuman represents.
Amal will deliver a keynote at WorkHuman 2018, April 2-5 in Austin, Texas.
A visiting professor at Columbia Law School’s Human Rights Institute, Amal is passionate about raising human rights awareness. In March, she made a stirring speech at the U.N., detailing the human rights violations suffered by thousands of Yazidi women at the hands of ISIS in Syria and Iraq.
Amal is the president of the Clooney Foundation for Justice, which she co-founded with her husband, George Clooney, in late 2016 to advance justice in courtrooms, communities, and classrooms around the world.
