WorkHuman is Here!

By Emily Payne

We’re so excited to be in the vibrant city of Austin for our fourth year of WorkHuman – and it’s going to be the best one yet. Each year, the incredibly unique WorkHuman community continues to grow, inspire, and innovate. Leaders, thinkers, and HR professionals across all walks of life come together to harness the transformative power of people for the next generation of HR.

WorkHuman 2018’s all-star lineup of more than 80 speakers includes Amal Clooney, Salma Hayek Pinault, Simon Sinek, Ronan Farrow, Brené Brown, Dr. David Rock, and Shawn Achor.

The keynote addresses bring perspectives from an incredible range of experiences – from social activists, celebrities, and New York Times best-selling authors – to rising stars in the HR and leadership space.

And we’re especially excited to include a historic #MeToo panel which will discuss respect, equality, and harassment in the workplace. Moderated by Adam Grant, a Wharton professor and advocate of greater equality in the workplace, the panel features  key figures in the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements. For the first time ever together, the panel features  Tarana Burke, Ashley Judd, and Ronan Farrow. The panel discussion is the first-of-its-kind at WorkHuman. We hope it inspires much larger conversations about equality and discrimination, resulting in greater transparency and equity in the workplace.

Eight content tracks will focus on the latest in HR like crowdsourcing performance strategies, creating a culture of inclusion and belonging, making the business case for social recognition, humanizing your employer brand, and much more.

With key thought leaders from organizations such as JetBlue, Bank of America, and Microsoft, you’ll have many opportunities to engage with leaders, speakers, and peers, making new connections, facilitating collaborations, and creating strong takeaways to take home to your own organization.

And let’s not forget about the food, art, and music of the beautiful city of Austin. You’ll have the chance to enjoy wellness activities like morning yoga to lead you into a day of sessions relaxed, rejuvenated, and ready to soak in all WorkHuman has to offer.

Thank you for participating, discussing, and helping to cultivate the next generation of HR – we’re thrilled to have you here.
