Jennifer is a grief support specialist with more than a decade of experience providing individuals and organizations with the tools they need to overcome loss and traumatic challenges. Jennifer is teaming up with an HR specialist to present a framework for an effective workplace response plan.

About Jennifer:

Jennifer Crow is passionately dedicated to grief and bereavement support and education. For the past 10 years, she has lead debriefings, facilitated meetings, and supported those affected by both anticipated and sudden death. She studied in Dublin, Ireland, with the Irish Hospice Foundation, has experience with on-scene trauma victim response through the Trauma Intervention Program, and has completed training with Portland State University in Trauma-Informed Services. She is a strong advocate of shifting society toward a place of better support for those grieving loss.

Jennifer is trained in specific aspects of bereavement, including complicated grief support, anticipatory and unexpected loss, and disenfranchised grief. She is currently a faculty member at the University of Portland for the class Theological Dimensions of Suffering and Death. Jennifer is also a grief and trauma response consultant with Crow J Consulting. She works internationally with businesses and organizations to support grieving employees, navigate challenges, and develop a best-practice response in the wake of a loss.
