Company named to Boston Business Journal's 2011 Pacesetters list

SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. – April 29, 2011 – Globoforce®, the world’s leading provider of global, strategic employee recognition solutions, today announced that it was named one of the fastest growing private companies in Massachusetts. The list is part of the Boston Business Journal's 2011 Pacesetters, which ranks companies by revenue growth from 2007 to 2010.

Ranked number 34 with three-year revenue growth of 72.29 percent, Globoforce helps mid-sized and enterprise companies elevate employee engagement and retention through the power of recognition. The need for effective, intelligent employee engagement solutions is more pressing than ever. In fact, employee engagement levels remain low globally according to a recent report from BlessingWhite. Organizations today are looking to Globoforce to motivate and retain talent, enhance performance management strategies, and ultimately transform their corporate cultures.

"We are thrilled to be recognized as a leader in Massachusetts, as well as globally. This speaks not only to our world-class clients and dedicated employees but also the need in the marketplace,” said Eric Mosley, CEO of Globoforce. “We’re in the midst of a critical time for today’s companies. The past year has seen tremendous growth for the Fortune 500, yet employee engagement is at concerning levels; many employees are ready to jump ship. The time is now for HR and business leaders to implement employee engagement strategies to build the type of company culture that fuels innovation and attracts and retains talent.”

The Boston Business Journal 2011 Pacesetters is a list of the region's fastest-growing privately held companies. To make the list, a company had to report annual revenue growth of at least 20 percent over a four-year period.
