Globoforce and BlessingWhite to Co-Host Webinar on Impacting Engagement on April 21
Derek Irvine and Mary Ann Masarech will share key drivers for achieving employee engagement and creating high-performance cultures
SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. and DUBLIN, Ireland – April 12, 2011 – Globoforce®, the world’s leading provider of global, strategic employee recognition solutions, today announced it will co-host a webinar for HR leaders and practitioners with BlessingWhite, a global consulting firm dedicated to creating sustainable high-performance organizations. Scheduled for Thursday, April 21, 2011 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. ET, the webinar will offer attendees best practices and proven strategies for using employee recognition to elevate employee engagement.
According to a recent study from BlessingWhite, only one-third of North American workers are engaged in their jobs while an increasing number of employees plan to leave their jobs in 2011. The latter was also a key finding from the 2011 Globoforce Workforce Mood Tracker survey, which revealed that 36 percent of U.S. workers plan to search for a new job in 2011. Both studies highlight the need for organizations to engage their workforce to avoid a potential mass exodus.
In this 60-minute webinar, Derek Irvine, vice president of client strategy and consulting at Globoforce, and Mary Ann Masarech, employee engagement practice leader at BlessingWhite, will define engagement in a way that is impactful and actionable. The presentation will set forth a practical approach to engagement and will evaluate the role that leaders play in driving engagement and creating a culture of recognition tied to corporate values. Irvine and Masarech will also examine the key drivers of employee engagement and how today’s organizations can increase engagement, productivity, and overall business performance.
Attendees to the webinar will also:
• Discover the key drivers of individual employee engagement
• Learn how engagement can drive bottom-line business results
• Find actionable ways to apply this information and increase engagement scores
