What is WorkHuman?
WorkHuman is a global movement of people, purpose, and passion behind bringing more humanity to today’s modern workplace. It is a management practice underpinned by global research that shows how companies can drive a positive employee experience.

How is WorkHuman connected to Globoforce?
Globoforce is the pioneer of the WorkHuman movement, which we celebrate with this annual event, as well as numerous regional events throughout the year. WorkHuman is a natural extension of our core promise – which is to help make work more human for millions of people and organizations worldwide.
 
How long has WorkHuman been around?
The inaugural WorkHuman took place in 2015, in Orlando, Fla. We returned to Orlando in 2016, and were in Phoenix in 2017. WorkHuman 2018 is in Austin, Texas, and will be our fourth year.
 
Who attends WorkHuman?
HR leaders – CHROs, total rewards, comp and benefits, talent acquisition, learning and development, business partners, culture, employment branding and communications. We do see leaders from non-HR lines of business who recognize the business value of bringing more humanity to today’s modern workplace.
 
What’s included with my registration?
Your registration includes access to all keynotes and breakout sessions, lunch, and evening social events.
 
Can I purchase a day pass?
We do not offer day passes.
 
Can I cancel my pass if I can’t attend anymore?
Cancellations may be made for a full refund (less a $100 processing fee per attendee) if received by Feb. 28, 2018. Registrations are transferable at any time prior to March 27, 2018, pending approval from Globoforce. Please email all cancellation and substitution requests to registration@workhuman.com with the registrant and substitute’s full contact information. Globoforce reserves the right to review and refund all registration fees it deems appropriate.
 
Where can I find my receipt?  
A receipt is included with your confirmation email. If you cannot locate your confirmation email, visit this link. If you need additional information, please email registration@workhuman.com for a copy of your receipt.
 
How do I book a hotel for WorkHuman?
You can book a hotel within the registration form to ensure you get the conference rate.
 
Is the hotel included with my registration?
No.
 
Does my credit card get charged now for booking the hotel?
Hotel policies vary. Please be aware of the policy of the hotel you have chosen.
 
Can I bring a guest to the social events?
No. Only registered conference attendees may attend the social events.
 
Are there shuttles to the Austin Convention Center from the airport?
We do not have prearranged shuttle service from the airport to the Austin Convention Center or hotels. There are several options for travelers, available at all price points. Please note that the prices below are estimates only; reservations should be made directly with the vendors.

  • Austin Private Car Service – private car service: $65-$80
  • RideAustin – Austin’s answer to Lyft and Uber. Non-profit, community-based. Download the app for iPhone or Android. $20-$25
  • SuperShuttle – an affordable and reliable shuttle service available from Austin Bergstrom airport. Offers shared-ride vans as well as 10 passenger private vans: $12-$60
 
Are there shuttles to the Austin Convention Center from the hotels?
No. The official WorkHuman conference hotels are all within two blocks of the Austin Convention Center.
 
What is the suggested attire?
Business casual for all conference and networking events. Do wear layers as some activities are indoors (cool) and some are out (warm). For evening events, anywhere from casual to dressy/tropical.
 
Can I apply to speak at WorkHuman?
Yes. The WorkHuman 2018 Call for Speakers is now open. Submit your proposal by July 31, 2017. All submissions will receive a reply by Sept. 30, 2017.
 
When will 2018 speakers and sessions be announced?
We will be posting speakers and sessions by the end of October 2017.
